Timbercrest Park

The Timbercrest park is located at 5247 Lance Drive. It is open from dawn until dusk year-round and free for all Timbercrest neighborhood residents. The park features a basketball court, several picnic tables, grills, bike racks, benches and a playground with swings. It is maintained by volunteers that mow, mulch, weed and dedicate time to keeping the park beautiful.

In March 2017, a new play structure was installed. We installed new park grade basketball goals in August 2018.

In prior years, a few residents planted garden boxes in the Timbercrest Park. We've grown tomatoes, watermelons, and many different kinds of brightly colored flowers. The children love taking care of the plants and watching them bloom. We are always looking for more volunteers to help maintain the park or are interested in gardening.

The Timbercrest Neighborhood Association hosts an annual Easter egg hunt and Christmas Tree lighting in the Timbercrest Park. Neighbors also congregate for an annual Turkey Trot, Chili Cookoff and other festivities organized by the Pool Board, Neighborhood Association or just neighbors who are interested. We are organizing more events in the future – so stay tuned!
