The Timbercrest book club. The book club announcements are made on the Timbercrest Subdivision Facebook page. Please consider joining because the rumor is that these discussion events are always a great time!
The “Ladies of Timbercrest” luncheon is held twice a year. This fall's luncheon was at Calhoun’s in Bearden. This invitation is extended to all women (and some men!) of the Timbercrest neighborhood via mail. Please keep an eye out for upcoming luncheons. This is a great opportunity to meet your fellow neighbors!
A great community garden was developed by one local resident. Donated crops and items were used to develop the garden. This is just one of the many great examples of a resident bringing forth an awesome idea and making it happen!
The 1st annual neighborhood pool party was a huge sucess. As you can see, a bounce house was rented (which the children loved!), games were played and prizes given out. Hotdogs were provided and each neighbor brought a side or dessert. An auction took place where various local vendors had donated items. Fun was had by all!
Pool Party this Saturday, 12-3pm. We want all residents of Timbercrest to come to the pool party. Remind your neighbors. We'll be taking donations at the party to offset any cost. Thanks for everyone who volunteered to make this happen!
We had great volunteers for the pool painting. Volunteers are needed each year for general pool maintenance and cleaning. Volunteer dates are posted on the Neighborhood Facebook page. If you are not already a member of the Facebook page, you can search for “Timbercrest Subdivision” and request to be added.
This is a great initiave created by one of our residents. The purpose of “Little Library” is to take a book and bring a book. The Little Library is located at 5423 Lance Drive.
